Although the entire idea behind the movie might just have been a little too overused, it has still worked out quite nicely and was enjoyable to follow.



Audio: 6.00/10

The only thing that I don't like about this movie is its audio. The music is just a mix of Lord of the Rings music with some other random songs, and the sounds are just default, minecraft sounds. No(-t that many) sound effects, the movie would probably have been even more amazing with professional audio.



Video: 8.00/10

This movie was recorded in a professional way and recorded in HD. It wasn't just someone following some other guys while they did some stuff, no, the movie actually consisted of carefully planned scenes.



Sets: 8.00/10 (Note: does not count for "overall" rating)

You couldn't really speak of sets, or a lot of pre-build stuff. However, the sets that were there were nicely build and fit perfectly with the movie and location.



Impact: 9.00/10

This movie has made a big impact to every minecrafter who has seen the full thing. For as far as I know, it is the first Minecraft "machinima" to be over 40 minutes long without really having any voice actors or similar. It's made a great impact to many Minecraft players and has inspired many others to also create Minecraft machinima's and/or movies.



Overall: 8.00/10

This movie is one of the best Minecraft movies I've seen, if not the best. The only thing that wasn't that great was the music and/or sound effects, but the story manages to make you look over that. It really deserves its fans and has written Minecraft-Movie history.
